Our Bargain Basket is one of the oldest ministries of its kind in Collier County.  It actually started as a little sale held by the ladies of United Church to begin to raise money to build our first building.  It has grown over the years into one of the prime resources for the mission and ministry of United Church.  There are over 100 volunteers that work each year at this store - either selling, sorting, shelving, or cleaning.  The store is open three days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, as well as Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  It is not only a great place to take your used furniture and items, but a wonderful place to purchase the many items you may need as you live here on Marco.  Most of all, it is a great place to meet new friends and fills a real need in the community.  Look below at the manager, and leaders of this Bargain Basket and some of the volunteers and committee members who share their time and talent to make it work.

Emphasizing its role as part of the mission of the church, the Bargain Basket has reinstated its children's department on a limited basis with all clothing on sale at just 50 cents an item and children's books at 25 cents each unless otherwise marked.

Our Bargain Basket is always in need of a few hours of your volunteer time.   Please call Jean O'Neil or Sandy Goldstein if you are able to offer some time and talent.  Someone will train you if you haven't worked before and you will make wonderful friends along the way.
